MODEL 783 SCOPED

Synthetic Stock, Blued Carbon Steel

BORN TO GET IT DONE.

Custom-grade accuracy is now within reach of virtually every hunter. Building upon expertise that’s dominated bolt-action technology for more than 50 years, our engineering team started from scratch and combined their most advanced, accuracy-enhancing features to create an all-new platform.

Crafted in our newest manufacturing facility using proprietary methods that create the tightest tolerances from rifle to rifle. The striking new stock design is home to a true performance-enhancer, with a dual-pillar bedding platform that free-floats the barrel for unmatched shot-to-shot consistency.

The black synthetic stock contains a high nylon fiber content, which promotes superior strength and rigidity. Also helping deliver those inherently tight groups is a precision button-rifled barrel. For shot control, it’s equipped with the crisp new CrossFire™ trigger system that’s user adjustable to suit your preferences.

The 783 features a steel detachable magazine with a steel latch. Standard calibers have a four round capacity and magnum calibers hold three rounds. Like with all Remington bolt actions, expect a lifetime of rock-solid reliability. From the next generation in a legendary bloodline. The Model 783™ Scoped comes equipped with a pre-mounted and bore-sighted 3–9x 40mm riflescope. Simply grab some ammo, check your zero at the range and you’re ready to hunt.

EXTERNALLY ADJUSTABLE TRIGGER

It breaks like glass, has virtually zero creep and offers a level of shot control unmatched by any factory trigger today. The X-Mark Pro externally adjustable trigger delivers true custom-grade performance in a production trigger and is user-adjustable with readily available tools. Not that you’ll feel the need. It comes from the factory with a lighter average pull weight preset to 3½ lb and user adjustable from 3 to 5 lb. While others use gadgets and add-ons to hide inconsistencies, Remington eliminates them with state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques and the tightest possible production tolerances.

HAMMER-FORGED BARRELS

All Model 700 and Model Seven rifles feature cold hammer-forged barrels. The method of hammer forging produces stronger barrels than any other barrel-making process. It also ensures excellent barrel-to-barrel consistency. All Model 700 and Model Seven barrels have exacting bore and rifling dimensions, as well as a carefully tuned exterior contour.

SUPERCELL RECOIL PAD

The product of more than 10 years of R&D, the Supercell Recoil Pad found on Model 700 and Model Seven rifles is proven to reduce felt recoil by an astounding 54 percent over standard factory pads. It’s one more way we help you focus on your target and eliminate distractions that can rob you of accuracy.

3 RINGS OF STEEL

  1. Recessed bolt face completely encloses cartridge head for maximum protection against case rupture.
  2. Barrel surrounds bolt shroud for 2 additional strength.
  3. Barrel threaded into receiver 3 machined from hardened steel.
